Ripperology!!!

After all deciding all to research the TRUE facts of ripperology and get a clear definition of what and who Jack The Ripper actually was, i came up with the following ideas.

  • It began early hours, August 31st, 1988. At roughly 3:45 am in London's East end.

  • Mary Anne Nicholls was the first murdered woman.

  • A week later it was Annie Chapman.

  • Several weeks later, the police recieved a letter, off a unidentified person, claiming that they were the culprit, calling themself Jack The Ripper.

  • The public got hold of this and the whole moral fear began.

  • 2 Days later, Elizabeth Stride was murdered and the ame night Catherine Eddows was murdered also.

  • The final crime was on November 9th. Mary Kelly, who was three months pregnant, was the first of the women to get murdered inside a house.

Jack The Ripper's identity is still not clarified as nobody actually saw him. However, many people have identified him as an middle class gentleman, being a doctor as he carried a doctors bag, wore a black cloak and a black hat.

I really enjoyed meeting up as a group. We all had good points and believe that our presentation will be great fun. Thanks guys. i am going to keep searching on ripperology anyway and will keep you posted. Thanks
