Who was Jack the Ripper?

Since the very first murder in 1888 no one has known who actually committed the killing in White chapel. Last Thursday we watched several film clips, each with a different Jack the Ripper Scenarios, granted the most famous and well known is the theory behind the movie. From Hell. which suggests that the royal family were in some way linked to the Murders because the heir to the throne, Prince Albert Victor, Duke of Clarence had father a baby by a suspected Prostitute.

Although this seems to be the most popular and accepted possibility is it really that hard to believe that it wasn't just some ordinary person, maybe middle or lower class, on a psychopathic power trip with the desire to kill and mutilate women for a reason unknown. I mean in today's society prisons are filled with people like this, killing because they want to regardless of who there victims are.

sorely there were people like this back in the 19th century. I mean there are people like Fred West, Ian Huntley, Ted Bundy, Peter Sutcliff, the moors murders and Shipman some of whom were trusted and or impersonated people of trust. Much the same as Jack the ripper did impersonating a Doctor.

Any why with all the problems with around the globe with democracy and leadership would the royal family really take such a risk to kill with such ruthlessness it attracted such a massive media frenzy. It just doesn't deem right?

Jack the Ripper has to be someone else sorely. I think that the royal family conspiracy theory was born out of a period of possibly revolution and not fact. The truth is we don;t know who it was, why suspected prostitute were targeted, or why the ripper stopped?

Can we really make such accusations based on no facts. God knows who Jack the Ripper was but i think this lack of knowing ids going to keep Jack the Ripper alive for years to come and I don't doubt there will be several more conspiracy theories to come.
